What is causing noise in my Samsung dryer?

Two or more rollers support the drum from the front and rear. As their bearings wear, they produce a rhythmic thumping or rumbling sound that correlates with drum rotation speed. Roller wear is a natural consequence of age and load weight.

Worn drum glides or felt seal
The drum glides (front drum slides) or felt seal around the drum opening wear down and allow the drum to contact the metal cabinet, producing a scraping sound. This is particularly common in Samsung front-load models.
