Why is my Samsung dryer not heating?
A Samsung dryer that tumbles normally but produces no heat has most likely blown its thermal fuse, lost its heating element, or has a failed thermistor or thermostat — all of which cut the heating circuit while leaving the motor running. On gas models, a worn igniter or gas valve coil is the common cause. The underlying trigger in most cases is restricted airflow from a clogged vent run.

A one-trip safety device that permanently cuts the heating circuit when the dryer overheats. It cannot reset — it must be replaced, and the underlying cause (almost always a clogged vent) must be corrected, or the new fuse will blow again within weeks.
